As the founder of Edgtiez, I recently walked into a networking event – solo. I’m no stranger to socializing, but it had been a while since I’d been at a proper networking event. In my enthusiasm I had said a full‑on “Yes, I’ll be there!”… but the moment I arrived I thought: oh right… I’m on my own. I’ll have to start conversations from scratch. Time to gather some courage.

Little did I know.

I was carrying the very first prototype of the Stropped Bagz and styled a baby‑blue Edgtiez with my outfit. And guess what? They did the talking. I didn’t have to lift a finger. People came up to me, compliments flew left and right. It was glorious.

And I’m not the only one. We keep hearing the same thing from the bold souls who wear our ties. One of them got ten(!) compliments at an event recently. At an art fair, a gallery owner even handed me her business card – instead of the other way around.
